According to Finance Magnates, Sandeep Patil, Joint Commissioner of the Bangalore Police in India, announced that the Karnataka police seized Bitcoin worth 90 million rupees (US$1.23 million) from an arrested hacker. The hacker, named Srikrishna, was arrested on November 18 for hacking into government websites. During the investigation, the police found that Shreeki had also hacked into three Bitcoin exchanges and 10 poker websites and stole more than 30 Bitcoins. The hacker used malware to attack government websites. He also hacked into online gaming portals and other different websites to win money and crypto assets online. |
