Jihan Wu officially resigns as CEO and chairman of Bitmain

According to BlockBeats, on January 26, TheBlock reported that in an encrypted message from Jihan Wu that was deciphered by the company, Jihan Wu, co-founder of Bitmain, officially announced that he would resign from Bitmain to quell a year-long internal power struggle with his rival co-founder Zhan. Jihan Wu said that the differences between Zhan and him had been "finally" resolved in a "friendly" and "constructive" manner. As part of the agreement, Zhan purchased the shares of Bitmain held by Wu and some founding shareholders for $600 million. In response, Wu said he had resigned as CEO and chairman of Bitmain on Tuesday.
