It is reported that the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission will accelerate the implementation of the "Science and Technology Winter Olympics" project and promote the application of digital RMB in the Winter Olympics scenarios.

Beijing Microchip Blockchain and Edge Computing Research Institute recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Digital Currency Research Institute of the People's Bank of China. The two parties will promote the application of digital RMB in enterprises based on my country's first self-controlled blockchain software and hardware technology system "Chang'an Chain". It is reported that the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission will accelerate the implementation of the "Science and Technology Winter Olympics" project to promote the application of digital RMB in the Winter Olympics scene.

Blockchain is a new distributed infrastructure and computing paradigm that can not only use asymmetric encryption and redundant distributed storage to make information tamper-proof, but also use chain data structures to make data information traceable. Currently, blockchain technology has become an information infrastructure in the fields of global data transactions, currency issuance, financial settlement, international trade, government affairs and people's livelihood.

On January 27 this year, the "Chang'an Chain" was launched in Beijing. It has the outstanding features of autonomous control, flexible assembly, hardware and software integration, and open source. In the "Chang'an Chain", more than ten core modules such as quantum-resistant encryption algorithms, governable pipeline consensus, and hybrid sharding storage are all independently developed.

On January 27, 27 units including the Institute of Microchips and the Digital Research Institute of the People's Bank of China initiated the establishment of the Changan Chain Ecological Alliance. This time, the Institute of Microchips and the Digital Research Institute signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will rely on their respective advantages in the fields of blockchain technology and digital RMB, combine the construction of the Changan Chain Ecological Alliance scenario, promote the combination of Changan Chain and digital RMB, give play to the programmable value characteristics of blockchain and digital RMB, promote the digital RMB enterprise application based on Changan Chain, jointly study the key technologies of basic new digital infrastructure, and explore new transaction models and business models under the digital economy.

The reporter learned that Beijing is building a digital economic infrastructure based on Chang'an Chain, which will provide important technical support for national ministries and commissions, large state-owned enterprises, and financial institutions in important areas of national economy and people's livelihood and economic development. Through in-depth cooperation between the Institute of Microchip and the Institute of Digital Research, the integration and innovation of digital RMB and Chang'an Chain will be used as an important support for promoting the construction of the Chang'an Chain Ecological Alliance, and jointly promote the high-quality development of Beijing's digital economy.

The Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission stated that Beijing will use the Blockchain Innovation and Development Action Plan as a guide, focus on the layout of blockchain technology research and development and application ecosystem construction, aiming to build the Microchip Institute into a world-class new research and development institution, and create a national strategic scientific and technological force in the blockchain field; at the same time, actively promote the establishment of the Changan Chain Ecological Alliance to promote the close integration of various innovation entities in production, education, research and application, and promote collaborative innovation by doing their best; in the next step, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission will accelerate the implementation of the "Science and Technology Winter Olympics" project, promote the application of digital RMB in the Winter Olympics scenarios, and assist in the construction of Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center.
