Taiwanese media: Bitmain poached hundreds of chip engineers and was investigated by the New Taipei District Prosecutor's Office

Wu said blockchain learned that according to Taiwanese media reports, 19 people were interviewed by the New Taipei District Prosecutor's Office on March 9 as defendants and witnesses because Bitmain came to Taiwan to poach hundreds of chip engineers in 2017. The poached engineers were from MediaTek, ASE, and had experience working at TSMC. The heaviest sentence was one year in prison.
