In 2020, 20 provinces and cities issued 23 blockchain special plans, which may usher in an explosion in the next three years

March 10th news, recently, 01 Blockchain, Zero One Think Tank and Digital Asset Research Institute jointly released the "China Blockchain Policy Survey and Regulatory Trend Analysis Report". This report is the ninth in the series of reports "New Trends on the Chain: China Blockchain Industry Development Survey Report (2020)". The report shows that in 2020, various provinces and cities actively issued a number of blockchain-specific policies, seized the development opportunities of the blockchain industry, and seized the blockchain high ground. According to incomplete statistics from 01 Blockchain and Zero One Think Tank, as of December 31, 2020, a total of 23 blockchain-specific policies have been issued by 20 provinces and cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, and Hebei.

Among the 23 blockchain-specific policies, there are 14 action plans, 4 opinions, 4 policy measures and 1 application blue book. The provinces and cities represented by Beijing, Guangdong and Hunan have formulated action plans for blockchain industry development that complement the overall strategic planning of the province in accordance with local conditions, and have established long-term overall goals and phased key tasks in detail. The provinces and cities represented by Guangxi, Yunnan, Hainan and Fuzhou have given a number of policy measures or guiding opinions based on their own development goals to promote blockchain technology innovation and industrial development.
