Musk reportedly holds over $5 billion in Bitcoin

How many Bitcoins does Musk, the billionaire and the "king of memes" who is talked about in the cryptocurrency circle, hold?

Anthony Scaramucci, known as "Little Trump", revealed that Musk owns more than $5 billion worth of Bitcoin.

Anthony Scaramucci is the founder of hedge fund SkyBridge Capital and former White House communications director. He is known as "Little Trump" for his bold remarks on the Internet and in the media. He is also a staunch supporter of Bitcoin.

On Friday, US time, Scaramucci tweeted: "Elon Musk has Bitcoin on his SpaceX balance sheet. Musk owns over $5 billion in Bitcoin through Tesla, SpaceX and personal accounts."

Scaramucci also touted Musk's contributions to clean energy. "No single person alive has done more to protect the planet from climate change than Elon Musk," he said.

“The claim that Musk invests in “dirty assets” is simply ridiculous. The future of Bitcoin mining is renewable energy. Musk sees a future where: 1) renewable energy replaces fossil fuels; 2) Bitcoin monetizes gold, renewable energy, stocks, and art, and becomes the primary store of value. The answer to energy FUD is Elon Musk!”

We cannot currently determine whether SpaceX holds Bitcoin because it is not yet public and is not required to disclose purchases to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Musk is a joke teller who made Dogecoin popular because of his love of memes and emojis. Last week, he played a word game on Twitter: "BTC (Bitcoin) is the reverse string of TBC (The Boring Company), what a coincidence! Both mine and use blockchain (block) and chain!"

Note: The Boring Company is an infrastructure and tunnel excavation construction company founded by Musk. Boring means both "boring" and "drilling and digging". (Bitpush)
