Dogecoin.org is officially launched and releases DIP-1337 proposal

On April 1, the Dogecoin community Dogecoin.org website was officially launched. Dogecoin.org also released a governance proposal called DIP-1337 on GitHub. Dogecoin.org said that whales are too greedy and dogs are poor. "Are kings, princes, generals and ministers of different species?" Dogs also eat meat!

DIP-1337 advocates the redistribution of Dogecoin wealth by invalidating the upper-level Dogecoin addresses, re-determining the redistribution every 1337 blocks by using the ranDAO random number, and establishing a community fund, in order to re-advocate the basic principles of the Dogecoin community. We decorated the car with our avatars and raised $50,000 for that. I remember. Remember when the devastating typhoon destroyed the Philippines and our precious Filipino dog brothers? We raised money for food, clothing, and boats. I remember. This is what the dog community used to be. This is what we are about. To give freely, not to hoard. To be kind, not greedy.

Oh, doge brothers…you cannot leave and let your dream stop while Dogecoin is still imperfect. You will not find a stronghold for the Dogecoin community to thrive. You will not support the prevailing and oppressive principles. You will not leave a legacy of barbaric behavior and poor examples of the strong bullying the weak and the rich oppressing the poor. You will not end the free spirit of Dogecoin in infamy.

With this full confidence, please accept our new oath here to defend the freedom, equality, unity and indivisibility of Dogecoins to the end. We will use DIP-1337 to redistribute Dogecoin wealth and occupy the means of production of Dogecoin blocks. Let the Dogecoin community return to equality.

Proposal motivation

Currently, the top 102 Dogecoin addresses control 67.41% of all Dogecoin. This is not very decentralized at all. It is actually very centralized. Papa Musk doesn't like it. He even said once: "If the major Dogecoin holders sell most of their Dogecoin, I will support it. Excessive concentration is the only real problem." Mr. Musk, the richest man in the world, said that he would "pay dollars for it" if "these addresses can be invalidated." Since Musk, the king of Dogecoin, can pay for it, as his Dogecoin fans, we can help him implement it. In fact, many of us are just the working class of Dogecoin.

We must strive for equality. Eliminate the elites and return power to the masses.

The top 100 Dogecoin addresses can choose to receive a payment from Elon Musk to invalidate their accounts. Contact with Elon Musk is one of the benefits of invalidating an address, contingent on Elon Musk’s consent (which is implied given his tweet).

Possessing block production materials

Randomizes potential block reward distribution every 1337 blocks

Every 1337 blocks, a random method called ranDAO will be implemented on the Dogecoin network to determine whether the block reward will be "occupied" and distributed to the selected address in the Dogecoin underlying layer.

Using the ranDAO random number generator used in Ethereum, the network will randomly select 1,337 lucky Dogecoin addresses among the bottom 80% of Dogecoin token holders to evenly distribute each block reward.

The process of implementing RANDAO on Dogecoin is very simple, and since it is very simple, it has been left to the community.

Community Fund

Establishing the Dogecoin Community Fund

Every Dogecoin transaction will be subject to a 1% community fund tax. The tax revenue will go to the Dogecoin Community Fund, which is controlled by the bottom 90% of addresses. Voting on the community fund will be conducted silently in the voice chat on Discord. Every Dogecoin community member has an equal voice. Each vote is capped at 1337 minutes.

Backwards compatibility

There are no known backward compatibility issues with the introduction of this DIP. If a fresh start from before Jackson Palmer created Dogecoin is needed, a supported community back-fork can be made.
