Exit, One of the World's Largest Music Festivals, Now Accepts Bitcoin for Ticket Purchases

Exit, one of Europe’s largest music festivals, has started accepting Bitcoin as payment for tickets.

People simply select the “Pay with Bitcoin” option on Exit’s website and scan the QR code to make the transaction.

Exit is considered one of the world's largest music events, alongside Glastonbury in the UK and Rock in Rio in Brazil. This year's headlining roster includes David Guetta, Tyga, DJ Snake and more.

The festival takes place at the Petrovaradin Fortress, the second largest fortress in Europe, located in the Serbian town of Petrovaradin.

In 2019, Exit attracted more than 200,000 attendees from all over the world, with The Chainsmokers as one of its headline guests.

At the forefront of innovation

Exit is the first major music festival to accept cryptocurrency payments.

CEO Du?an Kova?evi? stressed the importance of being at the forefront of innovation in his statement:

“The potential of blockchain, digital exchange and currency is exciting. We want to be at the forefront, making the most of new technology and be able to engage with our tech-savvy audience as it develops and changes.”
