Iranian police recently seized an illegal cryptocurrency mine and confiscated 7,000 mining machines

According to BlockBeats, on June 23, Reuters quoted Iranian official media as saying that Iranian police seized 7,000 mining machines in an illegal cryptocurrency mine. This is reportedly the largest seizure in Iran so far. Less than a month ago, Iranian authorities banned cryptocurrency mining, which will last until September this year. The reason for the ban is that the authorities believe that summer is a peak season for electricity consumption, and mining machines will increase the power load.
