Khala wins the 4th parachain slot auction on the Kusama network!

Around 16:33 on July 13, the auction for the fourth parachain slot of the Kusama network ended! After a 1-hour random closing period, at around 17:29, Phala’s predecessor network Khala successfully won the fourth slot of Kusama by locking 132,280 KSM!

At the same time, the Kusama Council voted to open the fifth Kusama slot auction at 18:32! This is the last Kusama auction with a confirmed time! The current highest bidder is Bifrost !

Please note that after the fifth auction, the Kusama network will suspend Auction and Crowdloan and evaluate the overall performance of the network! After that, the second round of Kusama auction will be reopened!

As of the time of writing, the Kusama network has launched 5 parachains, namely the Statemine public welfare parachain that was allocated free slots through governance, and Karura, Moonriver, Shiden and Khala that won slots through auctions!

At present, all Crowdloan activities on Kusama, including those that have been completed and those in progress, have locked up a total of about 1,157,600 KSM, accounting for 10.27% of the total KSM. The current staking ratio has dropped to 48%, and all locked KSM in the Kusama network is currently 58.27%.
