On August 3, Australia’s longest-running cryptocurrency exchange launched a card backed by Mastercard, allowing users to buy, sell and spend digital assets directly from its platform using local US dollars. The CoinJar card is Australia's first cryptocurrency card under the Mastercard brand and is available in physical or digital form through Google and Apple Pay integrations. CoinJar's card supports up to 30 different cryptocurrencies and has a 1% conversion rate that is returned to customers through an internal rewards program, the company said in a press release on Tuesday. |
