On September 4, ETC officially announced that the Geth vulnerability caused the ETC mainnet to fork, and the ETC mainnet computing power initially fell by about 20%. Major miners/pools have updated the patch version of Core geth or used Hyperledger Besu. According to previous news, the ETC mainnet was forked due to a geth vulnerability, and Core-geth node operators should update to version v1.12.1 or above as soon as possible. |
