2. After the Eth2.0 plan was replaced, Vitalik said that he would first work on Layer2. At that time, there was no op and zk, and the technology he led was plasma. However, he later found that this path was not feasible. The op rollup proposed by offchain labs was successful, and the Optimism team also switched to op rollup. This may also be because Optimism was once "cheated" by him.

3. Vitalik recently proposed the concept of SBT. As a result, many teams rushed to work on SBT projects. So far, no project has been successful. I don’t know if this can be considered a “trap”.

4. Vitalik also proposed four solutions for zkEVM, but in the end he said that all solutions should be closer to the first type, which is equivalent to Ethereum. However, zksync announced that it would not be closer to the first type, but to stark, which was originally in the fourth type.

5. AA wallets, also known as account abstraction wallets, have been criticized recently, such as argent wallets, etc. However, due to the poor support of Ethereum itself for AA wallets, many teams rushed into this field but found it difficult to make a profit.

We review Vitalik's "mistakes" not to belittle him, but to reveal an important fact: in the decentralized network, although Vitalik's words as a founder often have a significant influence, he is still an ordinary person and may make mistakes. We should understand his imperfections and not deify anyone, including the founder.
