Is the bull market suitable for trading in waves?

Is the bull market suitable for trading in waves?

1. I thought ORDI would also pull back on Binance, so I sold it for 4 figures at 12 yuan. People who don’t like to trade in short term made the most unsuccessful operation.

This is a message from a reader under my March 6 article “About ORDI’s Investment Journey”.

When I saw this message, I thought of an experience of mine in the past: a long time ago, when I first entered the investment market and started investing in the stock market, I was fascinated by swing trading.

At that time, whenever I saw on the intranet or the Internet some "great god" achieved a myth through wave operation of a certain stock in a certain period of time, I would be ecstatic as if I had found the "Nine Yin Scriptures", and every time I would try my best to understand the techniques and indicators in it.

But in the end, I still had no chance to use this method of operation. Not only did I fail to realize those myths, but I also suffered a huge loss. "There is no greater sorrow than a dead heart", and from then on, I no longer had any interest in this method of operation.

2. What is NAT?

The NAT based on digital physics theory mentioned in the article refers to DMT-NAT. For details, please refer to https://ordinalswallet.com/collection/tap-DMT-NAT.

There are many articles about this protocol on the Internet. You can search for DMT NAT. This concept is quite interesting, but there are not many projects based on it at present.

3. None of the coins I hold appreciate in value, is there any hope?

I'm afraid you can only ask yourself this question.

We can think about it ourselves: Is it because the coin itself has problems or the market has temporarily ignored it? If the coin has no problems and the market has temporarily ignored it, then it is not a big problem. Because in a bull market, basically every track will rotate, and as long as the coin has no problems, it will rotate sooner or later.

If you are not sure whether your coin has any problem, you can recall why you bought it in the first place and check whether your reason for buying it is still correct.

If you can't answer any of these questions, it means that you still don't understand it. Since you don't understand it, you are upset and feel hopeless, so you might as well just exchange it all for Bitcoin and Ethereum.

4. I just entered the cryptocurrency circle and have not experienced the complete bull and bear market, so I have no idea of the risks. In 2021, I mortgaged my house at the end of the bull market, and then suffered for three years. Only this year did I see hope.

When I saw this reader’s message, I was really worried for him.

I have always advocated that investment must be made with spare money, and never with money that affects your life, and certainly not by mortgaging assets to raise capital.

The risk of operating with such a high leverage is very high. I think I was lucky that there was no problem with this operation, but everyone's luck is limited. Once the luck is not so good once, all the previous efforts will be wasted.

In addition, even if the final result is good, the process of operating with such a high leverage is very destructive to people's psychology and physiology. In this process, people live in fear and anxiety every day, and it is very likely that they will have psychological and physical problems before they see the fruits of victory. Once the body has problems, no amount of money can help.

5. I read Vitalik’s article, which mentioned that if faced with a quantum attack, Ethereum can adopt a rollback approach. What do you think of this approach?

I understand that what Vitalik said is a measure for extreme situations. However, if this situation really happens, it is not surprising that Vitalik did this, because Ethereum did this after the last DAO incident.

I think this kind of thing should be avoided as much as possible. Because once it happens, whether it is rolled back or not, it will damage the consensus of at least half of the community.

In addition, I think the probability of this happening is very low, and anti-quantum attacks have already been deployed and arranged in the future development path of Ethereum. The Ethereum community also has a team dedicated to researching anti-quantum attacks.

So overall I’m not too worried about Ethereum being attacked by quantum attacks.
